We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Human Resources Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing and enhancing our HR functions, ensuring compliance with employment labor laws, and fostering a positive workplace culture. This position requires a strategic thinker who can effectively manage all aspects of human resources.
Key Responsibilities Include
• Manage full-cycle recruitment including onboarding.
• Develop job descriptions and determine the appropriate classification.
• Manage employee FMLA, workers comp and personal leave of absence programs.
• Manage all benefit administration.
• Ensure adherence to federal and state labor laws and company policies.
• Maintain and update HR procedures.
• Foster employee engagement through effective communication, training, and development programs and morale events.
• Maintain complete and compliant HR records.
• Serve as a resource for employees, promptly addressing concerns and promoting a culture of engagement and inclusivity and a positive work environment.
• Collaborate with department heads to support change management initiatives within the organization.
• Conduct exit interviews and reports trends to senior leadership.
• Drug & Alcohol Program management.
• Payroll support as needed.

Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
• 5 years of experience as an HR Manager or similar
• Professional certification (PHR/SPHR and/or SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP) strongly preferred.
• Proven experience as an HR Manager or similar role, with a strong understanding of HR functions.
• Knowledge of employment labor law and compliance regulations is essential.
• Familiarity with benefits administration processes.
• Proficient in using HR software for managing HR operations.
• A high level of integrity, ethics, and judgment.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
• Experience in a union environment is a plus.

Human Resources Assistant (Full Time)

The HR Assistant plays a vital role in supporting the mission of TVT and contributing to a positive work environment.
Primary responsibilities include:
- Internal & external job postings, responding to applicants, scheduling interviews
- Creating new hire and annual benefit packages
- Assisting employees with questions and completion of required forms
- Assisting with payroll
- Distributing memos & mail
- Tracking and obtaining employee compliance documents
- Organizing and maintaining complete and confidential HR digital and paper files
- Assist with company morale events
- Other duties as assigned
This position requires a high level of professionalism, the ability to maintain confidentiality and the ability to maintain a positive attitude as well as strong organizational and computer skills. One year of previous experience in a Human Resources role or associate’s degree in related field required.

FLEET MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN – TWO OPENINGS

This full-time position with our Operations Team works the day shift Monday-Friday for a minimum of 30 hours per week. We seek a motivated individual with basic maintenance technician skills, a desire to learn new ones and be a team player!
Position Requires:
- CDL Class C with Passenger Endorsement, Onsite CDL training available for the right candidate
- Ability to lift 50lbs & push/pull 25lbs
- Willingness to learn new skills
- Attention to detail
- Tools provided as needed
- Must be a team player
Primary Duties:
- Basic maintenance technician skills
- Experience with tires, brakes, exhaust, and other preventative maintenance
- Vehicle detailing
- Substitute driving

Volunteer Opportunity – COMMUNITY DRIVERS

Do you have a little spare time and a safe vehicle? You can improve the life of a homebound senior, disabled adult or other vulnerable neighbor by driving them to access medical appointments, food and other basic necessities. You tell us how much or little time you are able to devote and we’ll handle all the logistics.
Community Driver Benefits
As a Community Driver for TVT you give your time but receive many benefits in return:
- Reimbursement at the federal mileage rate for all miles driven, including to and from your home (does not affect social security or disability income)
